It's been a while...

I have returned from my absence.

I've spent the past month and a half getting myself on my feet, mainly working in a chip shop to earn a bit of money.

The thing is that i'm scared of being stuck there. I've got my grade back from Universtiy in which I've obtained a 2:1 (which is mad for me.) I worked so hard at university, especially in my final year, so to come back to end up working in the same job that I had before I went to university has been a bit of a blow to my confidence. I'm hoping that this changes in the future and I've been actively approaching other companies to try and get a job that will help me progress and move forward.

I'm really excited that I have an interview on Thursday for a company that looks like it's a bit of me. They're a fast growing company, and the role seems suited to my skill set.

I've also been offered a job as a kitchen porter. I didn't spend 3 years at university to wash dishes. I'd much rather be making tea for professionals.

Sorry for the sombre mood, I know I normally pack these posts with lots of A-grade humour. This is a poor showing from me.
